Alma Neville ACC
B.Ed Hons, NLP Master Practitioner, Certified NLP Coach, Certified Newfield Coach
I created Mosaic Coaching and Development in 2003. After 16 years as a primary school teacher I became disillusioned with the way the education of our next generation was going, there seemed to be more focus on budgets and targets than on the child.
I decided I would look for a new career and at that time I discovered NLP and after a period of study I qualified as a Master Practitioner. Thereafter my ‘calling’ was to become a coach and I started my coaching practice in 2001. I have completed a number of coaching programmes with the world’s premier coaching schools. (See Professional Qualifications below.)
I am dedicated to being the best coach I can be for my clients. For me that means continuous personal development and ongoing professional training. I am one of a small number of coaches in the UK to hold an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential As an ACC and member of the ICF I am committed to its standards and ethics.
I live in Steyning, West Sussex, with my husband and two of my four sons.
My aim is to enable people to empower themselves to get more out of life. I love to coach people to explore, discover and give life to their passion, whatever that may be. After all the one life we have is not a dress rehearsal!
My clients say I am warm and very approachable with an easy manner and yet able to be direct and challenge when they need to take action. I will not let you off the hook when you have committed to doing something that is important to you. I want to see you living the best life you can, facing up to truths and taking responsibility for your thoughts, behaviours and actions, and being courageous when trying out new ways of being. I work with you to discover and breath life into your values. When we are true to our values we give our life meaning and live with a sense of ease and flow.
I treat issues seriously but with a sense of perspective and lightness, being able to open up options and offer reflections and possibilities. Clients appreciate the trust and the safe context that I create in order for the coaching to be successful.
I want to bring the power of coaching to a larger community. A step towards this has been the creation of ‘Mirus Coaching’ with my colleague Marianne Craig. You can find out more about this by visiting the Mirus Website.
Our aim is to run a groundbreaking coaching programme in which coaches’ offer high quality, low cost coaching to those involved with social change. This service will support those individuals who are committed to making a difference to the lives of other people. The outcome will create a positive ripple effect that will benefit communities on a much larger scale.
